The Mitchells Vs the Machines
Nothing brings a family together quite like the robot apocalypse or at least that is one of the life lessons taught in The Mitchells vs the Machines, the latest straight to Netflix animated release from producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Lego Movie). And when it comes to the robot apocalypse, the Mitchells are not exactly the family you would want saving the world. They are not great at the family thing, I mean they love each other, but they don’t get along, or communicate well. They are also super average, in almost everything. While on the surface this story may seem formulaic, parents and kids don’t understand each other; they go on a road trip and learn to appreciate each other. There is so much more to The Mitchells vs the Machines than meets the eye.
Tom And Jerry: The Movie
This latest attempt to revive the nostalgia of the infamous cat and mouse cartoon from the 40’s and 50’s, does its best to follow the formula of the original Tom and Jerry cartoons, but is that enough to make a full-length movie work?

There have been many ups and downs for Laura Gene and Peter through the two movies, but these two kids have stuck it out. Now that high school is ending and they are trying to figure out what the future holds for them.
GroundHog Day
It’s Deja-vu all over again as TV weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is trapped in a time loop where the same day repeats itself over and over again in the cult classic Groundhog Day. There is no denying the financial and critical success of the movie in the 1990’s, but how does “Groundhog Day” fare against the test of time?
The Personal History of David Copperfield
This is not a movie entitled “David Copperfield” for a very specific reason. It isn’t the Charles Dickens classic novel. It is a movie “based” on the book known as “David Copperfield.” Once we get past that point, we can sit back, relax, and enjoy the charming satirical wit and wonder of this delightful film. It is a loving re-imagining of the classic tale by director Armando Iannucci and co-writer Simon Blackwell with an astounding cast of international talent aptly led by Dev Patel (Lion, Slumdog Millionaire)…
